Green Point Stadium in the Western Cape (the old Green Point Stadium was demolished in 2007), Peter Mokaba Sports Complex, Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth and Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban are currently under construction to be completed for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

FNB Stadium, Ellis Park in Johannesburg and Loftus Versfeld in Tshwane, as well as Royal Bafokeng Stadium in the northwest and Vodacom Park in Mangaung (Bloemfontein) are being upgraded to increase capacity and improve facilities.
